Exercices
Short, self-marking practice for the skills a level exam and a job both lean on. Every question is generated fresh, so you cannot memorise the set — you have to actually get quicker. Two ways to run one: free practice, where the streak counts how many in a row you get right; or Do 10, a ten-question session with a clock, a score, and a summary that names what you missed and lets you redo just those. Streaks and best-of-ten live in your own browser and nowhere else — nothing to sign up for.
Each card says whether you tap an answer or type a number, and about how long a session takes. The suggested order runs from the tape to the symbols; the trade math lessons sit beside the arithmetic drills if you want the method before the practice.
-
Test du ruban à mesurer
Read a tape to the nearest 1/16", with a timed mode and a streak.
-
Fraction / decimal drill
Convert fractions of an inch to decimals and back.
-
Exercice sur la loi d’Ohm
Solve for voltage, current, resistance or power — three levels, from whole numbers to the power forms.
-
Series / parallel practice
Totals for two or three resistors, the current a string draws, and the drop across one resistor.
-
Conversion drill
Inches to millimetres, feet to metres, both ways.
-
Offset math practice
Work the offset multiplier from a rise and an angle.
-
Exercice de maths du métier
Everything above, mixed, plus right triangles, area and percent — and a printable 20-question worksheet.
-
Which symbol is this?
Name the schematic symbol — at the foot of the how-to-read-a-schematic lesson.
On paper instead
When a drill comes easily, prove it cold on a printable worksheet — twelve problems on Ohm’s law, voltage drop, series and parallel, trade math or motor control, with an answer key that shows the working. A new sheet any time, free.
The trade math and offset drills teach the arithmetic; when you are at the bender and want a real pull worked out rather than practised, bentright.com does the bending numbers.
